    I am using Slideshow Remote for Powerpoint.  The app allows me to use  my I-pad as  a clicker for presentations.  It cost $4.99 in the app store.  It has a few problems,  but basically acts like a clicker to advance slides on  the table top computer in the classrooms.   Connecting is easy, but you need to be in the program on your Ipad prior to logging onto the decktop  computer.  (This is after the first time connecting).  Anyone who wants to see it work is welcome to stop by my office  and try it out.  It is simple, but the more I use it the more I lke it.

    Presenting from iPads 

    An excellent blog post came out this week about presenting from iPads in the classroom.  I use the plural because one of the examples mentioned is an instructor handing over the presentation to a student so the student can show their work.  You might not agree with his impressions of other presentation options, but I think it generates some great ideas we can investigate on our own.
