    Plug n Play Stockholm

Here is a short, amazing video that uses several iPads and a few magic tricks to give a conference presentation about the benefits of living and working in Stockholm.  Interesting use of imagery and blending the digital with the physical.

    Black Friday App Sales

As you might expect, a lot of apps went on sale today.  Some of the more exciting offerings I’ve seen for the day:

Shakespeare Pro – dropped from $10 to $7

PDF Expert – dropped from $10 to $7

Star Walk – dropped from $5 to $4

SketchBook Pro – dropped from $5 to $1 !!  this is the cheapest the app has ever been

Art Authority – dropped from $10 to $5

and to fight off those holiday pounds, Gorilla Workout (no equipment or gym needed) dropped from $2 to $1

Remember, when you’re searching apps in the App Store to always get your apps from the top “iPad” section, not the bottom “iPhone” section.

    Happy holidays!

    50 GB free on Box.net

For a limited time, Box.net is offering iPad and iPhone users 50GB free online storage.  Box.net is very similar to Dropbox.com, which I know many of you love as much as I do.  There have been other competitors, but Box.net seems to be one of the better alternatives I’ve seen.  It has a free iPad app, and more apps are starting to incorporate Box.net features.  Never hurts to have other options, right?

    Here are the details:

Short Sneak Peek: Windows 8 and iOS 5

For all you early adopters, here is a video preview of a Windows 8 tablet against an iPad running iOS 5 (the major update coming out in October).
Two differences I noticed – the size of the tablets and the keyboards. Enjoy!
