    Black Friday App Sales

As you might expect, a lot of apps went on sale today.  Some of the more exciting offerings I’ve seen for the day:

Shakespeare Pro – dropped from $10 to $7

PDF Expert – dropped from $10 to $7

Star Walk – dropped from $5 to $4

SketchBook Pro – dropped from $5 to $1 !!  this is the cheapest the app has ever been

Art Authority – dropped from $10 to $5

and to fight off those holiday pounds, Gorilla Workout (no equipment or gym needed) dropped from $2 to $1

Remember, when you’re searching apps in the App Store to always get your apps from the top “iPad” section, not the bottom “iPhone” section.

    Happy holidays!

    50 GB free on Box.net

For a limited time, Box.net is offering iPad and iPhone users 50GB free online storage.  Box.net is very similar to Dropbox.com, which I know many of you love as much as I do.  There have been other competitors, but Box.net seems to be one of the better alternatives I’ve seen.  It has a free iPad app, and more apps are starting to incorporate Box.net features.  Never hurts to have other options, right?

    Here are the details:

    Magazine App

I like Zite as a personalized magazine app. I can select news topics that interest me. It is very easy to set up and just as easy to make adjustments. It has similarities to Stumble with a like and dislike toggle, allowing Zite to “learn” what the reader “likes” and adjust content feeds accordingly.

Adding, deleting, customizing personalized lists of content categories is easy. Set up is an easy step by step (tap by tap) process.

    MacLife’s 50 Most Beautiful Apps

I might not agree with all their choices, but I did find a few apps that I hadn’t tried out yet. Many of the apps mentioned are free. In my own list of beautiful apps I would add Starwalk, Art Authority, and any of the Fotopedia apps.

What would be on your list of most beautiful apps?
